Prior registration by phone +7 (8182) 20-75-80 is mandatory for all in-person appointments.

Prior to submitting your documents, you must familiarize yourself with the Educational License, the State Accreditation Certificate, the NSMU Charter, Educational programs and other documents regulating the organization and implementation of educational activities, as well as the rights and responsibilities of students.

Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Northern State Medical University" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation carries out educational activities in accordance with the state license issued by the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science and the Certificate of State Accreditation.

The Rossotrudnichestvo Agency provides an opportunity to enroll in NSMU according to the Russian Federation Government's quota after registration on the website education-in-russia.com and successful completion of their entrance tests. The total number of quota places is 33.

Lists of applicants

Please note! In 2026, all applicant lists feature a unique applicant code assigned upon application through the Admission Service (Russian State Services Portal Gosuslugi).

You can find your unique code in your Gosuslugi profile or by visiting the Admissions Office in person.

Documents you need to provide

In case of applying through the University's electronic application portal, you must submit all the required documents in electronic form (machine-readable scans or photographs with Optical Character Recognition). You must provide the University with all the document originals during your first semester.

  1. a) a passport or another identification document with its original notarized translation into Russian. Your full name in the translation must absolutely correspond to the full name in your entry visa (if applicable);
  2. b) a visa (for citizens of countries which cannot enter Russia without a visa), a migration card and a detachable part of the arrival notification or other documents confirming your legal stay in Russia;
  3. c) a birth certificate (if applicable): if you have your parents' names and other close relatives in the required documents' originals (education documents) or if you're a compatriot (citizen of Russia) living abroad;
  4. d) an education document with its notarized translation into Russian:
    • • to apply to specialist or bachelor's higher education programs: a secondary education or a secondary vocational education document;
    • • to apply to master's higher education programs: a specialist or bachelor's diploma;
    • • to apply to residency higher education programs: a specialist or master's diploma;
    • • to apply to postgraduate higher education programs: a specialist or master's diploma.
  5. e) a certificate of foreign education recognition in Russia, if required by submission of such an education document;
  6. f) documents or other written evidence on the right to education for the use of compatriots equally with citizens of the Russian Federation (Federal Law 99-FZ dated 24 May 1999 (ed. 23 July 2013) 'On public policy of the Russian Federation regarding compatriots abroad'):
    • • citizenship of the USSR, citizenship or lack thereof at the time of presentation for persons who were citizens of the USSR;
    • • past residence on the territory of the Russian State, the Russian Republic, the RSFSR, the USSR or the Russian Federation, relevant citizenship when leaving this territory and citizenship or lack thereof at the time of presentation for descendants (emigrants); kinship in direct ascending line with the above persons for descendants of compatriots;
    • • permanent residence abroad for all the above persons;
  7. g) referral from the Ministry of Education and Science for training within the quota established by the Government of the Russian Federation (if any);
  8. h) medical certificate of absence of medical contraindications to training, results of fluorography, HIV, HBs, HCV test with their original notarized translations into Russian (if necessary);
  9. i) voluntary medical insurance policy valid in Russia, including emergency medical aid and insurance case of repatriation from Russia;
  10. j) a dactyloscopy certificate confirming that you've undergone mandatory fingerprinting and photographing within 90 days from the date of arrival in Russia.
  11. k) for citizens of India – a certificate of successful completion of the NEET exam with its notarized translation into Russian. In case of absence of NEET – a statement from the applicant addressed to the Rector confirming that the applicant is aware that in case of obtaining a higher education diploma outside of India, they will not be able to undergo the accreditation procedure and gain access to medical practice in India (click here for a sample statement).
